Reflecting back to the journey of AR Genie in 2024
In a transformative year that redefined the boundaries of tech solutions with latest Innovation & Tech Events globally, AR Genie marked 2024 with transformative augmented reality solutions that our customers needed. We introduced major software releases with enhanced features & updates and connected with industry leaders & tech enthusiasts at major technology events worldwide. Our commitment to innovation has driven us to deliver solutions that help businesses transform their operations, maintenance & support through immersive technology. Here is a brief overview of AR Genie’s journey in 2024.
In October, 2024, we released AR Genie Work Assist, an AR work instruction software for AR Glasses and iPad devices. Work Assist combines AR and AI technology to provide step-by-step work instructions for maintenance, repair, training and operational tasks. The major highlights had been the software’s features and UI updates such as : the introduction of evidence-based workflows, Voice Assisted AI “ Smart Assist “ for hands-free troubleshooting and a comprehensive resource gallery for multimedia content used in workflows creation and implementation.
The intuitive job board interface streamlines task management, while comprehensive UI updates enhance user experience and productivity. In 2024, we announced the market availability of AR Genie Work Assist App for iPad devices available for download on the Apple App Store.
Our Augmented Reality Remote Support and Maintenance Software - AR Genie Remote Assist, underwent significant enhancements in features and user interface. Remote Assist connects experts with on-site field technicians remotely for support and maintenance tasks. It allows experts to provide instant visual guidance to on-site field technicians through AR annotations on live video feed in real-time.
In June 2024, we released live screen sharing functionality along with external USB WiFi camera support. The screen share feature enhancement enabled remote collaboration and troubleshooting in real-time by allowing remote experts to share their desktop screen directly with on-site technicians during support sessions. The integration of wireless WiFi cameras enabled hands-free operation while allowing experts to see exactly what technicians see.
